How is my furniture protected in storage?
Furniture needs one thing above all: air that stays dry. Wood warps in damp conditions, upholstery and mattresses soak moisture up, and leather goes dull and cracks. That is why your furniture sits in enclosed, dry and clean storage rooms at Space Plus.
A garage, an attic or a cellar are the most common alternatives and also the riskiest. Temperature and humidity swing with the weather, dust settles into upholstery, and heavy rain can leave water on the floor. A self-storage unit rules those risks out.
Security comes on top of that. Our facilities are monitored by CCTV, the building is open to customers only, and you lock your own storage unit. Nobody but you can reach your furniture.
As for size, it is better not to guess. As a rule of thumb, a whole household needs around a tenth of its living area as storage space. Our team advises you on site and recommends the right size, so you do not rent space you will not use.
